POLICIES

    • Every appointment must be secured with a deposit.

    • A non-refundable $150 deposit is required for all Permanent Makeup Services. This deposit will go towards your total service cost.

    • Please make sure to double check the procedure, date, and time you are booking.

    • A deposit not only reserves time for you, but ensures that are serious and committed to making the appointment.

    • If your procedure requires two sessions (new client brows, lips, liner), your original deposit will hold the time slot of your second session. Second sessions are typically booked 6-10 weeks after the first session. If for any reason the second session is not scheduled with a 6 month period of time, the deposit will be forfeited and a fresh deposit will be required for touch-up work.

    • If you fail to attend your scheduled appointment, are more than 15 minutes late, if I am unable to work on you due to pre-procedure details or contraindications, you will forfeit your deposit.

    • If you need to reschedule your appointment, you will need to do so through the confirmation email sent from scheduling site 48 hrs in advance.

    • If you choose to cancel your appointment, you will forfeit your deposit and will be required to pay a new booking deposit when you schedule your new appointment.

    • If you need to cancel your appointment, you will need to do so through your confirmation email sent through the scheduling site.

    • Last minute cancellations, no matter the reason, still hurt the artist’s business. When you can’t make it to your appointment, the deposit is kept as small compensation for the time and money lost.

    • A required minimum of 48 hours notice to reschedule an appointment. If you reschedule with less than 48 hours or do not show up to your appointment, your deposit is forfeited and other fees may apply.

    Deposits are non-refundable.

    • If you no-show, you will forfeit your deposit and will be required to pay for your entire service up-front in order to rebook.

    • If you arrive to your appointment with previous tattooing and have not been pre-approved by Shelby, you will forfeit your deposit.

    • If you are wanting a touch-up on another artist's work, you will be considered as a new client and will need to book under first time client price.

    • I take correction and touch-up work on a case-by-case basis. If you have had previous permanent makeup work done, even if it has completely faded, you must contact me first.

    • Previous work can be tricky. The current state of your tattoo, and understanding your expectations will help artist offer advise and help achieve the desired result.

    • Email consultation : If you have had your eyebrows previously tattooed and are interested in a cover-up/re-work , please email prior to booking appointment and include clear photos of your brows, the date of your last brow tattoo, and how many sessions you received or have a consult prior to booking your appointment. Best results cannot be guaranteed for such cases and eyebrows must be approved to be workable. In some cases where the previous work is too dark, dense, discolored, or large, tattoo removal will be highly recommended before continuing with cover-up/re-work. Previously tattooed areas and cover-ups will almost always require additional touch-ups for best results and will be charged accordingly.

      EMAIL contact

    • If you will be late to your appointment, please let me know! If someone is late, the first thing I’ll do is check my inbox for client communication, email is usually best! contact me

    • If you arrive later than 15 minutes past your scheduled appointment time, it will be considered a no-show and you will be required to pay an additional $150 deposit to rebook.

      Deposits are non-refundable.

  • Once the treated area is completely healed, and changes or additions that need to be made can be done at your follow-up ‘second session’ appointment no sooner than 4-10 weeks later. It takes about 4-6 weeks for the area’s skin cells to completely regenerate and settle in.

    • Guidelines are provided to achieve optimal results, but there are NO GUARANTEES made due to different skin types reacting differently to the procedure and because I have no control over outside factors (proper aftercare, skin type, lifestyle, exposure etc.) that contribute to the final product.

    • A minimum of 2 appointments are typically required to achieve the most consistent, long-lasting outcome.

    • Additional appointments may be necessary to achieve your desired results and will be charged accordingly, but always best effort is made with the initial two.

    • Healed results will vary with each individual client and using a pencil or powder may still be needed. Permanent Cosmetics are NOT meant to replace makeup.

  • If you are unsure if you are ready for a refresh, it usually means it is too soon.

It is best for the tattoo to be 50-75% faded before coming back. They need to be faded enough so the new pigment will show up, otherwise you will end up with a more solid powder looking brow.

For and appointment inquiries regarding refresh (come back) appointment please contact.

It’s best to send a clear, well lit, near natural lighting, photos of your tattooing without makeup, from each side and center.

    • Please be on time to your appointment. I book clients back to back and if you are later than 15 minutes, I will have to reschedule you. I want to give you the best service possible and this cannot be done if I’m rushed. Thank you so much for your understanding!
