PRE-CARE

    • Please take a break from any exfoliating anti-ageing/ anti acne products (retinoids, glycolics, vitamin c, AHA/ BHA, enzyme washes, serums, etc) near and around your brows area at least 2 weeks prior to your session and 2 weeks after for best healed results.

    • Refrain from drinking alcohol or taking blood thinning medications 24 hours prior to your appointment.

    • Any treatments such as lasers, peels, waxing, botox, tinting, etc should also take place 2 weeks prior or 2 weeks after your appointment.

    • No brow serums for at least one month before.

    • Skin should be healthy and non irritated, blemish and sunburn free for best results. Your skin type & condition will greatly determine your results.

    • I’d rather see your full hair growth potential when you come in to your appointment - I’ll be happy to remove any stray hairs at the studio!

    • Microblading alone is only suitable for dry, non-porous & healthy skin. Most clients will benefit from a naturally shaded style brow with a few hairlike details.

    • You may want to avoid permanent cosmetics if you have very oily skin and/ or very large pores on your forehead. The hair stroke pigment may be rejected.

    • If you normally wear makeup on your eyebrows please fill them in prior to your appointment. This helps me see what you are used to. If you have pictures of brows you like please have those ready as well for reference. Keep in mind I map out what brows will be best for your face shape so they will never be exactly like a photo.

    • Wash your hair the day of your appointment. You’ll want to avoid getting your brows wet during healing process.

IF YOU HAVE: PSORIASIS, ROSACEA, MELASMA, REALLY THICK, DARK, COARSE EYEBROW HAIR, TAKE MEDICATION, SUFFER FROM AUTOIMMUNE ISSUES, VERY OILY SKIN, ACNE PRONE, ENLARGED PORES ON YOUR FOREHEAD/FACE, VERY SENSITIVE/REACTIVE SKIN, ALL THESE CAN NEGATIVELY AFFECT YOUR OUTCOME. • LIP FILLERS :

You MUST wait at least 1 month before/ after getting your lips tattooed

    COLD SORES :

If you’ve EVER had even 1 cold sore on the outside area of your mouth or on your lips, you MUST take doctor prescribed Valtrex at least 3 days prior and 3 days after getting your lips tattooed. If you don’t - this procedure will trigger an outbreak that will affect healing, so this is very important & very easy to avoid.

    MOISTURIZE :

Please make sure your lips are well moisturized in the days leading to the appointment. Dry, cracked lips won’t heal nicely.

    • No fake lashes - they have to be removed at least 2 weeks prior to the appointment and can’t be put back on till 2 weeks after the touch up.

    • No lash serums for at least one month before.

    • No lash lifts/tints at least 10 days prior, and must wait 2 weeks after touch up.

    • No Blepharitis (eyelid infection, usually caused by poor makeup removal habits and falsies).

    • Eye surgery: requires a doctor’s note and ample time of healing before your appt (email if you have questions).

    • No botox injections or filler 1 month prior to procedure in eye area only.

    • No retinol products 1 month prior in eye area.

    • If you wear contacts, you will be asked to remove them for the time of your appointment. Wear glasses.

    • Your are NOT a candidate if you have extremely sensitive watery eyes & glaucoma (excessive tears will not allow the pigment to properly hold in the skin).

    • DO NOT consume alcohol, caffeine or take any blood thinners (aspirin, ibuprofen, Niacin, fish oil 72 hours before your procedure, this may cause excess bleeding and may affect your results).

    • You may experience hypersensitivity and more pain around or during your menstrual cycle.

    • It is recommended to wash your hair before your appointment to help prevent your eyes from getting wet in the shower the next several days (this does NOT mean you cannot wash your hair during the healing process, just helps as a precaution for the first few days of healing).

    • Be sure to have sunglasses available because your eyes may be light sensitive. Try to avoid wearing contacts for 3-5 days after the procedure.

  • Please take a break from any exfoliating anti-aging/ anti acne products (retinoids, glycolics, vitamin c, AHA/ BHA, enzyme washes, serums, etc) near and around your tattooed area at least 2 weeks prior to your session and 2 weeks after for best healed results.
